Terms of Service

1. Who we are

QRZY (hereinafter "QRZY", "we", "us") is a service operated by DATS Digital LLC, based in Wyoming, USA. Full company identification and contact details are on our Legal Notice.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using QRZY, you agree to these Terms of Service and to all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. Description of Service

QRZY provides dynamic QR codes and URL shortening with conditional routing, analytics, and related features as described on our features and pricing pages. The service is currently offered on an invite-only basis.

4. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate, up-to-date information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • One account per person or business.
  • You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum digital-consent age in your jurisdiction, to use QRZY.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Infringe on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
  • Distribute malware, phishing links, or otherwise harmful content via QRZY URLs.
  • Use QRZY for spam, deceptive redirection, or fraudulent activity.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.

We may suspend QR codes or accounts that we reasonably determine violate this section, with notice where feasible.

6. Payment and Billing

  • Paid plans are billed annually in advance through Creem.io, which acts as Merchant of Record.
  • Prices are shown in USD. Taxes are added where applicable based on Creem.io's Merchant of Record handling and local legal requirements.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
  • Failed payments may lead to service suspension; your QR codes will continue to redirect to their last configured destination for a reasonable grace period before any downgrade takes effect.

7. Consumer right of withdrawal (B2C, EU)

If you are a consumer, any mandatory withdrawal or cooling-off rights available under applicable law remain unaffected.

By starting to use a paid plan before the 14-day period ends, you expressly request immediate performance of the service and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal to the extent permitted by law and by the Merchant of Record terms shown at checkout.

Business customers (B2B) do not receive consumer withdrawal rights except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

8. Intellectual Property

QRZY and its content — including the "QRZY" name, logo, and UI — are protected by copyright and trademark. You retain ownership of the QR code content, destinations, and data you configure in your account. You grant us a limited licence to process that content for the purpose of delivering the service.

9. Service Availability

QRZY is provided on an "as available" basis. We aim to keep the service reliably available, but we do not currently offer a formal uptime SLA. We may perform maintenance or make changes to the service; we will notify you of significant changes where practical.

10. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Per our billing model, subscriptions run for the remainder of the paid annual period. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach of these Terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QRZY is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g. liability for intent, gross negligence, or mandatory consumer protections).

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, USA, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence applies.

If you use the Services in the course of a business, profession, or trade, the state and federal courts located in Wyoming, USA will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms deprives you of any mandatory rights or forum protections granted by the law of your country of residence. If you have a complaint about the Services, contact support@qrzy.co first so we can try to resolve it informally.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes affecting your rights, we will give reasonable advance notice by email or in-product notice before they take effect.
